Schwarzkopf have been partnering with GPS group for several years to design and produce their retail Point of Sale campaigns throughout Australia. Historically Schwarzkopf have had their marketing material warehoused in locations in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne resulting in a costly and inefficient warehousing and distribution model. GPS identified this as an opportunity to consolidate and streamline the Schwarzkopf POS warehousing and distribution process saving both time and money.
GPS Group developed a 3PL model that centralised Schwarzkopf’s marketing collateral and provide a customised online portal for their field sales team to manage their orders. Integration to the field teams handheld PDA's was an integral part of the process, enabling them to order POS at the same time as product reducing time logging onto PC's and forgotten orders.
GPS Group initiated a monthly pick & pack cycle to reduce excessive just in time (JIT) deliveries. Our campaign management system is compatible with Schwarzkopf’s field teams smart phone’s & tablets enabling them to order POS displays with their customers resulting in better allocation of stock. The GPS model has presented Schwarzkopf cost savings throughout their business and reduced number of staff required to administer the POS and marketing program.
In the past True Alliance were relying on several agencies and printers to produce their marketing and VM campaigns and as the company continued to grow they soon realized the need to better manage this process.

Tennis Australia run a hugely successful participation program for children called Hot Shots.
As part of the program when a child signs up to work with a coach at a Tennis Club that child receives a t-shirt. The program when launched was so successful that the T Shirt supplier couldn’t manage the fulfillment of all the orders. Tennis approached GPS to take over the program on a 3PL basis.
We now pick & pack the kid’s T’s per coach rather than per child. The coach receives his or her allocation of T’s along with a list of children’s names and their Tshirt size once per term. Naturally we manage the National Distribution of the program as well. GPS has reduced the cost of delivery, sped up the delivery by months and simplified the process for Tennis.
